Ezra Rosas Bailon

Ezra is an associate lawyer at Titan Law Corporation. He obtained his Juris Doctor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology degree from the University of Alberta.

Ezra believes in offering compassionate, trauma-informed legal services. As a native Spanish speaker, he has helped many clients from Latin America and the Caribbean gain immigration status and settle in Canada. He immigrated to Canada from Mexico in 2015 and he hopes to support others navigate the complexity of settling with their families in Canada.

Ezra has experience representing migrant workers facing workplace abuse and exploitation before the BC Human Rights Tribunal, the BC Employment Standards Branch and WorkSafeBC. He can advise clients on the process of applying for permanent residence with a job offer and an LMIA through their employer. He can also assist individuals who have lost their immigration status apply for a Temporary Resident Permit. Ezra has collaborated with support and settlement organizations, including MOSAIC, WATARI, The Salvation Army Illuminate program, Kelowna Community Resources, and the YWCA to facilitate access to legal and social supports.

Beyond his legal work, Ezra enjoys celebrating his Mexican culinary heritage by learning and cooking traditional food recipes. He also enjoys swimming and exploring Vancouver’s urban and natural sites.
